Second attempt to pick up in-line skating...

Last Saturday, Fiona, Joyce & myself started our inaugural month-long skating lessons with Skateline at ECP. This is our (Fiona & myself) second attempt in learning to skate, the first was a year ago, when we tried self-learning at the park and at the top level of a multistorey carpark next to our home. We had our fair share of falling down then, but I had a very bad backward fall and it hit my spinal tailbone and I was immobalised for over 10 minutes!

Back to our skating lesson at ECP. We'd skipped "Inline FunStart" and jumped straight to Level 1 Lesson 1 & 2 "Stride 1" & "Heel Brake". It was fun and we managed to pass the 2 lessons on Saturday. On Sunday, Fiona & myself returned back to ECP and took Level 1 Lesson 3 "A-Frame Turn". Good for us, we passed that as well. We've also tried skating along the cycling and skating path and it was nerve-wreching experience, especially for beginners like us. Nonetheless, it was all great fun and a very good experience.

Can't wait for the next skating lesson tomorrow, that'll be Level 1 Lesson 4 "Scooter & Swizzle" for Fiona & myself but Level 1 Lesson 3 for Joyce.
